The Central Council of Tlingit & Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska released a 53-page climate adaptation plan in 2019. The plan is a road map for prioritizing, monitoring, and responding to climate threats to important subsistence and cultural resources, including salmon, berries, clams, herring, halibut, yellow cedar, and other plant and animal species.
